“The beauty of chess is it can be whatever you want it to be. It transcends language, age, race, religion, politics, gender, and socioeconomic background. Whatever your circumstances, anyone can enjoy a good fight to the death over the chessboard.” – Simon Williams

Today many years later I have discovered that it brings many positive aspects to your life. I would like to share with you my knowledge of the game and let it take you on a journey filled with endless opportunities.

I really enjoyed my introduction to chess lessons with Brian. He explained some of the laws of chess in a way that was easy for a beginner to understand. I’m going  to practice a lot now and look forward to receiving some more guidance from welcometochess.com

Just a quick note to let you know how much I gained from Welcome to Chess lessons. I have had an interest in learning chess for a while and you were able to clarify in simple terms many points of which I was unsure. The lessons have increased my enthusiasm for the game and broadened my horizons.

Brian introduced me to the world of chess, it is something that I knew nothing about and wanted to learn something new during the lockdown. Brian’s passion for the game of chess and the culture of chess was so lovely to witness. Learning the game was one thing but to learn the origin was even better to understand how the game came to be. If you are looking to learn something new I would highly recommend Welcome To Chess.
